シリンダーも外して点検していきます
Remove the cylinder and check it.
チーフクランクですね。コンロッドの向きが前後逆に組まれていました。
It's a chief crank. The direction of the connecting rod was reversed front and back.
ピストン回り点検
Look at around piston
リングギャップの測定ですが、測る前に見た目でアウトなクリアランス…
It's a ring gap measurement. It looks like not good before measuring...
ピストンクリアランス測定
Measure piston clearance
ピストンクリアランスかなり大きくてダメで要ピストン交換。
ストローカーピストンのオーバーサイズを手配します。
The piston clearance is quite large and useless and the piston needs to be replaced.
Need the oversized stroker piston.
オイルポンプとカム回りも点検していると腰下も怪しい箇所が見つかったのでエンジン下ろします。
When I checked the oil pump and around the cam, I found suspicious thing in the bottom end.So I came off the engine.
プライマリーの点検、分解
Check and disassemble the primary
ここの大事なボルトも1箇所無くなっていました。分解点検で気づいて良かったです。
One important bolt was also missing.
割らない様に慎重に外します。
Remove it carefully
作業台に上がりました。調子が良いIndianを作る為は仕方無いですが結局エンジンOHになりますね…🙃
It's time to rebuild the engine..
