チューニングの基本。サンプバルブをスクレパースタイルに交換。少しでもオイル抵抗の軽減に

Basics of tuning. Replaced sump valve with scraper style.

もちろんそのままは装置出来ません

クランクケースを削ってフライウィールギリギリにセットして合わせます

Scrape off the crankcase and set the flywheel to fit.

完了。かなりシンプルになります。

ピニオンレース圧入前の用意

Prep before pinion race press fitting

ワッシャー類も新しく。

New washers

専用の治具を使い圧入時にワッシャーがセンターになるようにします

Use a special jig to keep the washer in the center when press-fitting.

リフターシャフトとブッシングも圧入前の準備

Prepare the lifter shaft and bushing before press-fitting

ケースが温まるのをじっくり待ちます

Wait for the case to warm up

一気に圧入。先に入れたピニオンレースを脱落防止後、他も圧入。圧入時の感覚で緩いと感じた場合はやり直してOSに変更します。キツイとケース割れるので毎回緊張します

Press in at once. After preventing the pinion race that was put in first from falling off, the others are also press-fitted. If I feel that it's loose at the time of press-fitting, try again and change to OS. I'm nervous every time. Because if it's too tight,the case cracks.

次はドライブサイド。

圧入前のレースの内径、外径check

Next is the drive side.

Check the I.D. and O.D. of the race before press-fitting.
適温になったら圧入

Press in when the temperature reaches the appropriate level.
